| ■AFRICAN YUKATA SHOW |

Kaos African Yukata Show__________designed by Kaori Sumi ,was successfully held in Harajuku, Tokyo, from Oct14 to 16th.
All prints used on Yukata (casual summer kimono ) were from Ghana , Nigeria,
Cot D’Ivoire, Senegal.
Obi (belts) and bags and accessories were made in Madagascar, using local prints and woven or hand knitted raffia
For Geta (wooden sole sandals) , the accessory parts are beaded in Kenya, and printed were using the same prints used on the Yukata.
Enjoy the mix –match of Japanese kimono and African fashion.
